Super Important!

I like this because she touches on some things that I have issues with but no one talks about. I love my body- honestly. But that doesn’t mean I love it every moment of every day.
And the whole thin=good thing… as of today I can officially fit into size 18 jeans for the first time since highschool. My mom is proud that I can shop in the “regular person section”. Well… if I wasn’t a regular person two years ago when I was wearing a 24, then what the hell was I?

this isn’t gospel- you don’t have to follow anyone’s “rules”- but it is really good advice for anyone with body image issues that currently feel lost or trapped.

This is so good. My favorite points:

• MY VALUE AS WOMAN IS NOT DEPENDENT ON WHETHER OR NOT MEN WANT TO FUCK ME.
• would you let a friend – or anyone – verbally abuse you?  Then why allow yourself to do it?
• wear clothes that fit
• Don’t accept abuse and condescension.  And certainly don’t pay for it
• You are a human being worthy of love and respect.
• Don’t punish yourself for being fat by treating your body like garbage.
